About Decomposed Cow Dung Manure
Collected from our indigenous Gir and Sahiwal cows, the dung is heaped, turned regularly and aged for at least six months until it is dark, crumbly and earthy-smelling. Proper decomposition means no heat damage to roots and no weed seeds.
Gobar khad is the traditional foundation of Indian farming — it increases humus, improves soil texture in both sandy and clay soils, and makes nutrients already in the soil more available to plants.
